How to care in school?
2 IL IE G II T 2 Q IU II T asked:
I am a senior in high school, with straight a’s and b’s, but for some reason this year I just can’t bring myself to try, or to even care that I have all c’s. Any advice?
BTW, i think it might be this site since thats all I do during class.

Happened to me. You are probably getting distracted by something. There’s not much you can do but focus

Your future depends on you caring.
Don’t throw it away.

Maybe because this year you are a little more tired of working. You need to push yourself to care, think about having your diploma and going to college.

1.We are the only organization providing health insurance to public entities in New Hampshire committed to joint labor/management decision-making. Our Board of Directors has equal representation from employees and employers. Every public entity participating in SchoolCare has a direct voice in the program through their employee and employer representatives that serve on the Membership Council.
2.We only do health insurance. After salary, health insurance is usually the most expensive component of employee compensation. It requires specialized knowledge, attention and service. That’s what the Coalition provides.
3.We offer firm, fixed rates by December 1. No guesswork, no guaranteed maximums or rate indications that may or may not resemble the final rates in May. Thus, our members know well in advance the cost of health insurance for the coming July.
4.We also act as consultants at no cost to school districts, towns and other public entities that want to review their health insurance options. We’re not brokers; we don’t make commissions. Representatives from the Coalition will help you examine and critique other possibilities, from self-funding to purchasing pools, and all the latest buzzwords from value based purchasing to consumer driven health care.

well, leverage might help.
if you start caring, get good grades, get a good GPA, you may end up REPEATING the whole year, or the credits your killed. and [if you intend on going to college] you NEED to make good grades. otherwise, in your last year of high school you could end up murdering your GOOD GPA and not getting accepted into a good, or even OK college.
GET MOTIVATED SONNN.

I dropped out of High School my senior year and got my GED. I go to college now and I’m doing fine. I’m 21, btw. If this isn’t an option for you then I suggest just doing the best you can do. School is almost over. It’s the end of March. Get as many bonus points as you can from your teachers and just sum up as much effort and energy as you can for one last burst of academic fervor. You won’t believe me, but in a couple years you will regret not trying. You will be amazed when you’re 20-21 at how different you are from your younger self. Just try, kiddo.
Oh, and don’t believe anyone who says that you need good grades to get into college. With my GED and my 2.8 GPA, I can get into 95% of state or private institutions. And so can you.

look I was the same way, I was always a 3.5+gpa all throughout my yrs in school and my senior yr I just lost interest and quit trying and caring. I went to D’s to be honest and even my teachers saw the diff… I almost didn’t graduate bc of one class. DON’T NOT CARE bc you’ll end up where i was, going to get your gown for graduation and them telling you they have to wait till you for sure pass your finals before they know you are graduating. There exact words were you’re in danger of not graduating so we cannot give you your gown untill you pass. MY HEART DROPPED and stress was all that i dealt w/untill i studied my *** off and passed that final. DO WHAT YOU CAN TO GET THROUGH THE YEAR, IT’S THE LAST YEAR!!!! I know, it’s fing lame and you get real sick of school, but coming from experience, don’t FUC up like i did, know for sure that you won’t be in danger of not graduating w/your class by getting through your last year.
